"WHY I WOULD BE YOUR BEST DATE FOR THE 2010 NICHOLL FELLOWSHIPS IN SCREENWRITING AWARDS AND BANQUET."

Update Oct 1, 2010: Winners Announced!

The Winners Yay!

[that is a link babe hit it]

This year is the 25th anniversary of the Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting and the Academy is throwing a monster bash November 4th at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills. Nice dinner, fun schmoozing, and pretty much all the alcohol you can handle. Tragically, however, Max's single male friends have all gotten themselves married off and she finds herself staring at a plus one in consternation. Oh nos!

Tragic for Max. Lucky for you.

Send your essay "Why I Would Be Your Best Date for the 2010 Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting Awards and Banquet" along with a [not naked!] photograph* to hotdate@seemaxrun.com and you might accompany Max to the big bash. Yay!

[*The number of people not including photos is scary. Seriously? You think I am going to attend an industry event surrounded by industry pros and fellow Nicholl alumni with you SIGHT UNSEEN? I am not Mother Teresa. Include a photo or you are out Sasquatch.]

Submission Rules & Guidelines:

100 words or LESS. Overly long essays will be disqualified.

No naked photos. Naked photos will totally be disqualified.

Must be able to actually attend a California event in November -- no out of towners who just think it would be cool to win and can't actually show up.

No married guys.

No chicks. Look no offense but I don't date girls and kind of need a guy plus one here.

No gay guys. I have not recovered from Matt Bomer trauma yet. [Wait, if you are Matt Bomer that might be negotiable.]

No Republicans.

Must like dogs. AND cats. [That is just a personal thing.]

Must have silverware skills and appropriate wardrobe.

6 feet tall or more is a plus.

What You Get Out of this Fun Filled Date:

A ticket to the 25th Annual Nicholl Awards Banquet at Bev Wilshire. Big event, huge! Free dinner, free booze, rubbing shoulders with Academy types, & Max's charming company.
