love on the page

I am in love. Head over heels absolutely positively smitten in love.

There is one small problem.

The guy is a fictitious character.

This dumb friend loaned me this dumb book and I read the dumb book and there is this dumb guy in the dumb book who --

Well. He is smart and funny and patient and fair and kind and knows how to love.

And he lives in 1743 on the written page and nowhere else.

Oh. And he wears a kilt and looks good too.

Sigh.

It has been a year exactly since my last romantic blunder. With, um, someone not fictitious. Maybe it is a good thing to fall for someone who does not really exist. It will sure keep me out of trouble in the here and now.

Or maybe this is just what happens when you live too long in the woods.

Love and Kisses,

Your Love On The Page Adams Girl
