So I am at the computer doing enormous amounts of catch up computer work and I feel this pain in my breast. And I think, What is up with that? And go take off my shirt to investigate and there is this huge lump in my breast. I mean huge. Bigger than a marble. And I am thinking, What? Where did that come from?? Oh. My. God. I am going to die of breast cancer. This is NOT good.
And then I find the reason for the lump.
A tick.
A tick has bitten my breast. [That tick did not send flowers or anything either what an outrage.] And breast tissue apparently really really does not like tick bites at all lymph nodes under my arm are starting to go crazy and it hurts and I have this lump to shame Cerces and --
The tick is dead. But I have this black bite mark. I kid you not. That bite mark is bruised black.
I do
not have breast cancer. That is a plus. [Um, knock wood.] But still. Black
bite marks on your breast are not feng shui.
Sigh.
